フォトグラファー・撮影監督  /  統括プロデューサー

主にテレビコマーシャル、ミュージックビデオや映画にて、塩谷大樹氏、鋤田正義氏、村上拓氏、矢島裕次郎氏、高橋秀行氏をはじめ多くの撮影監督に師事。当時のトップクリエイティブの現場で経験を積み、2014年に撮影監督として独立。

広告では大手回転寿司チェーン「スシロー」で約3年間 TVCMの撮影を担当、その間で企業の知名度が大幅に拡大する。その後も大手企業TVCMを数多く撮影。

エンターテインメント分野では「DJ SHADOW」「サカナクション」ブレイク前夜の「星野 源」「MIYAVI」など有名アーティストのミュージックビデオや、ライブビデオを撮影。

ACC / CANNES LIONS / CLIO Healthcare / Best of Stash / Telly Awardなど国内外で受賞歴があるが、本人は実力よりも人との出会いも含めた運が良かっただけだと自覚している。

2019年よりビデオグラファーとしても活動。

近年はより良い映像表現と顧客満足度の両立を求め、クリエイティブの上流工程から関わっていく事を常に望み、プロデューサーとして動画コンサルティング領域での提案・運用にも取り組む。

2024年には新分野に取り組むため、岐阜のバーチャルプロダクションスタジオ

GIFU VFX CHUKYO P&G Studio のスタジオディレクターに就任。

グランドオープニングコンテンツの総合演出を手がける。

2026年、現在は東京青山の株式会社パラダイス・カフェで統括プロデューサーとして契約。

同社マネジメントで、フォトグラファー・撮影監督も継続して活動中。

略歴

2007年  映画や広告の撮影助手を始める。以降、数々の著名な撮影監督に師事。

2014年  カメラマンとして独立。テレビコマーシャル、ミュージックビデオなどで撮影監督。

2017年  館岡事務所Creator’s roomに所属し、マネージメント委託。

2019年  撮影に重心を置きつつ、映像作家としても活動を開始。

2020年  館岡事務所を退所し、フリーランスに。

2024年  株式会社 CHUKYO P&Gに所属、GIFU VFX CHUKYO P&G Studioにて

　　　　スタジオディレクター、VFXプロデューサーを務める。

2026年  東京青山の映像制作会社、株式会社パラダイス・カフェとプロデューサーとして契約。

Ko Nakamura

Photographer・Cinematographer / General Producer 

Based in Tokyo, Japan.

He apprenticed under numerous cinematographers—including Daiki Shioya, Masayoshi Sukita, Taku Murakami, Yujiro Yajima, and Hideyuki Takahashi—working primarily on TV commercials, music videos, and feature films. After gaining experience on the sets of top-tier creative productions, he established himself as an independent cinematographer in 2014.

In the advertising sector, he spent approximately three years shooting TV commercials for the major conveyor-belt sushi chain "Sushiro," a period that saw a significant rise in the company's brand recognition. He has since shot numerous TV commercials for major corporations.

In the entertainment industry, he has filmed music videos and live concert videos for renowned artists such as DJ Shadow and Sakanaction, as well as Gen Hoshino and MIYAVI (capturing the latter two just prior to their major breakthroughs).

He has received awards both in Japan and internationally—including honors from ACC, Cannes Lions, CLIO Healthcare, Best of Stash, and the Telly Awards—though he personally attributes his success more to luck and the people he has met than to his own abilities.

He began working as a videographer in 2019. In recent years, seeking to balance superior visual expression with high client satisfaction, he has aimed to be involved in the creative process from the earliest stages; he also works as a producer, offering proposals and managing operations within the realm of video consulting.

In 2024, to pursue new challenges, he assumed the role of Studio Director at "GIFU VFX CHUKYO P&G Studio," a virtual production facility in Gifu. He oversaw the comprehensive direction of the studio's grand opening content.

He is currently under contract as an Executive Producer with Paradise Cafe Inc. in Aoyama, Tokyo (as of 2026). Under the company's management, he continues to work actively as a photographer and cinematographer.

Career Summary

2007: Began working as a camera assistant for films and advertisements; subsequently apprenticed under numerous renowned cinematographers.

2014: Became an independent cameraman; served as cinematographer for TV commercials, music videos, and other projects. 2017  Joined the "Creator’s Room" at Tateoka Office; entrusted management to the agency.

2019  Began working as a filmmaker while maintaining a primary focus on cinematography.

2020  Left Tateoka Office to work as a freelancer.

2024  Joined CHUKYO P&G Co., Ltd.; served as Studio Director and VFX Producer at the GIFU VFX CHUKYO P&G Studio.

2026  Signed a General Producer contract with Paradise Cafe Co., Ltd., a video production company based in Aoyama, Tokyo.
